What’s Keeping Operator CTOs Up At Night?
A PANEL DISCUSSION FROM MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS 2019
By any measure, today’s telecommunications CTOs
have a big job ahead.
Today’s Chief Technology Officer in the telecommunications industry is facing a host of converging forces while trying to steer their businesses to new revenue growth. The arrival of 5G-enabled services, competitive pressures from agile players (who could also be their partners), the role of cloud in their future system architectures, to name just a few, all have service providers CTOs lying awake at night. And it’s no wonder — this ever-evolving role oversees about half of industry employees and will invest trillions in capital expenditures over the next five years.
Sigma’s Catherine Michel, voted CTO of the Year by the TM Forum, participated in a vibrant roundtable discussion with leading CTOs in the industry at MWC 2019 in Barcelona. By filling out the form below, you can watch the roundtable and learn how this elite group of executives plan to face converging forces in the industry.
In addition to Catherine’s participation in the roundtable at MWC 2019, Sigma made its presence felt through in Hall 7 with a full-featured promotional stand. Sigma hosted over one-hundred attendees in meetings to discuss and demonstrate its Create-Sell-Deliver portfolio. Prior to the event, Sigma announced a deeper integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the presence of Sigma Catalog, Sigma CPQ and Sigma Order Management on the Microsoft AppSource. And it also announced a recent win with telecom services provider EWE TEL. EWE has selected parts of Sigma’s Create-Sell-Deliver portfolio, including Sigma Catalog and Sigma CPQ integrated with Microsoft Dynamics, to support the creation of new digital service offerings, as well as to reduce manual intervention and provide increased automation for faster service roll out.
