Gartner Dubs Sigma Top Technology Vendor
There’s quite a bit of chatter in the service provider space, specifically with regards to how traditional CSPs can roll out new products, increase their revenue stream and fend off charges from OTT players. In June, Gartner contended that an aggregated, real-time master catalog of products, services and resources is a critical product component to help CSPs drive product innovation and improve the customer experience. Sigma plays a critical role in granting CSPs access to such a product catalog.
As such, Sigma was touted by Gartner for its catalog-driven CRM, order management and service fulfilment solutions, and was named a top technology vendor in the report “Competitive Landscape: Cross-Channel, Centralized, Catalog-Driven CRM, Order Management and Service Fulfilment for CSPs, Worldwide, 2014,” published by Gartner.
“Sigma’s Idea-to-Install products offer a catalog-driven approach for seamless end-to-end product delivery, accelerated product launches, omni-channel selling, and accurate and efficient order management and provisioning,” our President and COO Tim Spencer explained in a recent release.
Contract Renewals Aplenty
In our constant quest to help our customers realize the full benefits of Sigma products, our company signed renewal agreements with Japanese-based Technology Networks and Denmark’s TDC subsidiary YouSee, international providers of telecom services.
In early June, we signed a three-year licensing and support agreement with Technology Networks. This extends our relationship with the Japanese service provider, which merged July 1 with J:COM—Japan’s largest multichannel operator, making it easier for our service providers to sell and deliver more services to more customers than ever before with the Sigma Service Management Platform products.
The five-year renewal contract with YouSee includes licensing, maintenance and support for Sigma Provisioning. We value our relationship with industry-leading YouSee—a cutting-edge developer of products and services that meet customer demand with rich capabilities and features.
Sigma Recognized for Innovative Support System
In addition to our recent Gartner accolade, we were humbled to learn that Pipeline’s judging panel announced that our Sigma Order Management has been recognized as one of the most innovative support systems of the year. Sigma Order Management, architected for the digital world, provides comprehensive end-to-end order management and tracking capabilities for service providers.
“This is the type of product that our customers and the broader industry have demanded, and Sigma is the first to deliver,” our Chief Strategy Officer Catherine Michel said in a recent release. “It is aimed directly at solving the lengthy time and high delivery costs that plague the roll out of new services and products.”
