ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand the Sigma OM/ Provisioning capabilities, product structure for hooks so as to overlay implementation needs from customer
  • Work closely with development team , testing members and management
  • Design and develop programming systems making specific program/component
  • Conduct system analysis and development, keep abreast with current product features/capabilities along with change in technologies.
  • Analyze, design, coordinate and supervise the development and testing of systems
  • Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for junior programmers
  • Analyze current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming
  • Develop new programs, analyses current programs and processes, and making recommendations
  • Respond promptly and professionally to release/deployable needs, bug reports and service requests
  • Create/manage software builds, patches and own configuration

 

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Technical Skills – Core Java, J2EE, Web services, Spring, Camel, Shell Scripting, XML, OOPS, Design Patterns, productivity tools usage and setup (configuration management/automation tools, Wiki)
  • COTS – Comptel Provisioning, Oracle OSM, Amdocs Cramer, Cloudsense, APPTUS, SALESFORCE (any one is desirable)
  • Configuration – GIT/CVS, ANT script
  • Expertise in requirement analysis and low level designs
  • Application servers: JBoss, WebLogic
  • Databases: Oracle-11 or above
  • Excellent problem solving skills and hands-on the technologies
  • Experience in integration testing across products and across multiple vendors
  • Experience in working on projects using waterfall as well as agile methodologies

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • B.E. or M.C.A. or equivalent
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
